Business Line reported that TATA Motors global wholesales of vehicles, including that of Jaguar Land Rover, fell 5.55% to 1.02 lakh units in November. The automobile manufacturer had sold 1.08 lakh units during the same month a year ago.

The company, a part of the salt to software business conglomerate TATA Group, reported 4.26% rise in cumulative sales for the fiscal to 7.82 lakh units. TATA Motors had sold 7.50 lakh units during the corresponding period, a year ago.

TATA Motors in a statement said that the company’s global sales of all commercial vehicles TATA, TATA Daewoo and TATA Hispano Carrocera range were at 49,248 units in November.

It statement said that The cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 384,199 vehicles.

TATA Motors’ global wholesales of all passenger vehicles for the fiscal declined to 53,089 units, while the company’s cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 3.98 lakh units.

The company sold 34,649 Jaguar Land Rover vehicles in November, an increase from 29,183 units a year ago. The Jaguar wholesales for the month stood at 6,260 and cumulative wholesales at 31,205 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales were at 28,389 and cumulative wholesales at 1.92 lakh vehicles.
