This machine is designed for measuring the water vapor transmission rate of barrier materials with high, medium and lower moisture barrier properties with a wide testing range and high testing efficiency. Equipped with advanced electromagnetic technology, program control, auto heating and cooling simplify testing it supports curves display of transmission, water vapor concentration, temperature and humidity in real time. Its measurement precise up to 0.001 g/(m2·24h).
Test Principle
The specimen is determined WVTR through a barrier film or sheet. During the gravimetric test, a cup or dish is filled with desiccant or water, placed in a chamber with controlled temperature and humidity. By periodically measuring the weight change of the test disc, parameters such as water vapor transmission rate can be obtained.
